Spring 2007

AKL's annual Philanthropy Week

Every April, the Men of AKL host an entire week of events devoted to education, service, and philanthropy to help our National Service Project, . 

During this week, our events include:

- A Mental and Physical Abuse Prevention Speaker

- The AKL "Promise Wall"

- "These Hands Don't Hurt" Arm Wrestling Competition

- And new events added every year!!!

St. Jude's Children Research Hospital's Up Till Dawn

- Many members of our Fraternity will be participating in the Up Till Dawn Grand Finale.  This is going to be held on SIUE's campus on February 3, 2007!

- Past Events -

Fall 2006

October

- Many of our members will be participating in the St. Jude's Children Research Hospital's Up Till Dawn project.  This campus wide event is projected to raise over $30,000 towards fighting pediatric cancer.  To learn more about the project, click on the Up Till Dawn logo.

- Our Fraternity cleaned & decorated a retirement community in Collinsville, IL for Halloween.

November

- GlenEd Food Pantry & Boy Scout food drive - 20 of our members helped sort, pack, and load food that was donated for the GledEd Food Pantry.
